The Texas Eviction Diversion Program has hit another roadblock. While it began on October 12, 2020, this relief program has only had a minimum affect on the plight of Texas Landlord and Tenants. The TEDP was set to go statewide on November 9, 2020, but that date was pushed into 2021.

The 12 pilot counties have been able to begin receiving aid, but only a few landlords have successfully recovered government funds.

In Harris County, the organization managing the program has announced a halt in the application process. Today, we’ll discuss what you need to know in order to get your self in line once the doors to this funding are open again later this month.
