The Era of the Eviction Moratorium was ushered in by the onset of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
However, since March of 2020 the social and political landscapes have changed dramatically. Now, rates of infection have fallen, the Vaccines have been administered to more than half of the country, and businesses are almost open to capacity nationwide.

The question from most Landlords at this time is, “Why is an Eviction Moratorium still necessary?” This is a question that the Federal Government will address in the next few days. With the current deadline for the CDC Eviction Moratorium approaching on June, 30, 2021, we wait to see whether the expiration will be extended yet again.
