Many times I find myself on the telephone speaking with a prospective client who is confused by the fact that he lost his Eviction Trial. “This guy hasn’t paid in 6 months!” Ouch. That sounds bad.

However, the real problem isn’t the fact that my potential client isn’t being paid, the REAL problem is that my potential client isn’t a Landlord. He sold his house to his former Tenant, but now he wants to evict his “Tenant,” just the way Landlords do all the time. However, if there was some kind of agreement to buy the property, the rules of the game may have changed drastically.
