You need to cover a few basics with your Tenant before you give them the keys to your property. Don’t hand over possession to your rental until you’ve checked each of these tasks off of your checklist.
Remember that the best lawsuit is the one you never have to file. Prepare your tenants (and yourself) for a successful experience, and then hand over the keys. Do it in this order, and you’ll thank me later.
